MY DREAM TRAVEL DESTINATION

My dream travel destination is to go to Hawaii because of its beautiful paradise and its other amazing features. Hawaii has many wonderful places to visit and it is a place  to visit and and it is a place where lots of people like to go. First of all, I really would love to go swimming or even surfing at one of Hawaii beaches. I also want to scuba dive and see the sea creatures underwater. It would be nice to relax in the breezy wind with the sounds of waves crashing.


          Secondly, the food in Hawaii are probably really good too. One of the things that I want to try is their coconut drink. The coconuts that they have are fresh out of a tree. The seafood is also good because it is fresh too. 

           Lastly, I want to do fun outdoor activities because of the perfect weather. For example, my family and I would go bike riding, canoeing, hiking, and kite flying. I have heard that Hawaii is the best vacation spot, so it would be my dream to go there..

HOW I WOULD SPEND MY LEISURE TIME

                                  I would like to spend my leisure time with my family and be active and also I like to discover new places. My idea on how to spend a leisure time is to take my family on an interesting trip. It doesn't matter how far it is. We can walk in the forests, zoo and beach. We can listen to the wind blowing in the trees, We can make campground or picnic on the beach under the starry sky. Everything is possible, you just only need to want to do it. This is my idea how I would like my leisure time, to be with family.                               We really don't have too much time on our hands, as a society, as a species and even more so as individuals. SINHALA AND TAMIL NEW YEAR

  We celebrate the sun festival in the month of April. Sinhala and Tamil new year is the biggest celebration in Sri Lanka. Usually, Sinhala and Hindu New Year falls on April 13th and 14th, symbolizing the ending of the old year, and the beginning of the New Year. It's based on the sun's movement from the Meena Rashiya to the Mesha Rashiya Sri Lankan welcomes the new year in April. It's the much awaited time of the year with the pleasant call of Koha.  The celebration is full of firecrackers and fireworks. The New Year rituals initially start with a neutral period called the "Nonagathe". So, during this period people keep off from all the work and engage in religious activities.
